Get Ready to Laugh
Have you seen the “Not my Hands” challenges going around on YouTube? In these challenges, Player 1 does the talking and doesn’t use their hands at all. Player 2 stands behind them using their arms to perform the actions Player 1 calls out.
Here’s an example to give you an idea:
This one is by a YouTube channel called Sis VS Bro
- Putting makeup on
- Eating food
- Preparing food
- Making Slime
- Tying shoes
- Getting dressed
- Washing the dishes (No glass or knives please!!)
- Styling your hair
- Brushing your teeth
You want your players to be pretty close to one another. It’s probably a good idea to have them slide into an oversized T-shirt. This way, their bodies will be close enough that Player 2 can put their arms through the sleeves of the shirt and won’t be able to see what their hands are doing. Player 1 will need to be in the front since they are the eyes of this challenge.

You’ll also want to be sure all of the items that you need to complete the task are right in front of the players, that way, they don’t have to risk walking around while stuck together!
What Makes this so Great?
Not only will your the players have a BLAST, they will also learn the importance of communication and working together. I’m pretty sure after going through this challenge a few time, any child will be able to see that when explaining a process no detail can be left out.
Imagine doing this process with teams and having a timed race!
